I can't help it, TV shows have been addicting. Besides, back in May I was trying to watch all of LOST before the series finale on the 23rd, so I have a excuse in that regard. As of right now, I'm still stuck in my TV watching addiction, so my movie prowlin' will probably still be at a minimum. You guys don't mind if this becomes a mostly TV-oriented blog, don't yah? On the bright side, this month does promise Predators and Inception, two films I'm highly looking forward to.
Now on a unrelated note, this post is my:

Congrats on Post 200! I just hit 400 sometime during the TV Meme.
It has been quite an abysmal year for film. I haven't given anything higher than 4/5 and the other day I realized Shutter Island is probably the best thing I've seen all year, and though I liked it, I didn't go crazy over it and will probably never see it again. Thank goodness for the t.v. shows on Neftlix streaming!
400?! Wow, it'll probably be another year and a half before I get close to that, what with school starting up again soon.
From a technical standpoint - performances, cinematography, music, editing, scripting - I'd concur SHUTTER ISLAND is probably the best this year. But I agree: rewatch value? Not too high. Here's hoping Nolan blows our minds with INCEPTION.
Luckily, though, the pure awesomeness of every episode of DOCTOR WHO Series 5 has made any less-than-stellar film this year easily endurable.
