SEXIEST ACTRESS OF 2010
RUNNER UP:
FAVORITEST MOVIE POSTER OF 2010
I will confess this was a bit of a toughie. First off, there are at least three more MACHETE posters that are simply awesome. Very excellent work done in crafting these posters. Secondly, although there are some nifty posters that came out this year, there aren't many that have a lot of wowness. Among the wowness, though, include one of the multitude of SAW VII and DEATHLY HALLOWS. Great work in constructing those, as well. Honorable mention should be directed towards the similar old-timed themed poster of the documentary BEST WORST MOVIE.
Don't think anyone will disagree with this choice. I loved Kick-Ass, but Hit Girl made that movie. Thanks to Chloe Mortez being one hell of a phenomenal young actress, she gave us one of the coolest characters of the year. Hell, I saw 20 year old women dressed up in Hit Girl outfits for Halloween. She's obviously made quite the impact. If a sequel ever does get filmed, I think it's safe to say that her presence was a integral part of getting it off the ground.
Awesomest Character of the Year

That concludes Day 2 of the Good and Bad of 2010. Come back tomorrow for the first eight of the nine best/favorite movies of 2010. Cheers!

Dear Mr. Timelord,
You have made me so happy with this post. I haven't seen anyone do something like this with their "2010 Movies" lists, yours is very entertaining and appeals to my SheNerd sensibilities. I am glad you gave mention to Predators, Hit Girl, Skyline, and others.
Thanks for the laughs!
Rachel - You're very much welcome. :)
Glad to differ from the norm anytime I can, and to make a reader laugh is all the better. Thanks for reading!
Dang, I still need to catch Predators. Heard a lot of good things...
You gotta tell me what numbers one and four are on the stupid endings list. Email if you don't want to spoil. blogcabins at yahoo
Amen on your Machete lesson learned. I feel the same way. I don't regret seeing the movie or anything, but it reminds me of when The Matrix came out and we were all dying for the sequel(s)...then we got 'em and they let us down. Both of them and Machete are more than watchable (okay, maybe not Revolutions), but we bit off more than we could chew and would have been better off wondering "What if?"
Awesome part two. Yes, I'm taking these slowly...
I'll spoil:
Stupid Ending #1 is SKYLINE.
Stupid Ending #4 is I'M STILL HERE. (Lame-est ending of 'em all)
Have you had the chance to see this awesome, psychologically psychedelic O-M-G so goodz (!!!) mockumentary yet?
Do watch PREDATORS. It's not going to blow your mind or anything, but it DOES stay true to the atmosphere and hard R rating of the original two.
I gotta admit, that ending to Skyline kinda makes me want to see it more. I know it's gonna be a terrible movie, but I'm okay with that.
Nope, haven't seen I'm Not Here yet. I doubt I'll ever seek it out, but if it's on and I'm available, I might watch it. I do kinda want to see Diddy in it.
